Quasi-reciprocal two-port networks
Abstract
The quasi-reciprocal two-port is considered as a generalization of the reciprocal two-port. Pseudoreciprocity (or right-handed reciprocity) and antireciprocity are defined. Conditions for quasi-reciprocity and basic properties of quasi-reciprocity are defined. Sufficient conditions for an absolutely stable two-port (passivity) and various theorems concerning quasi-reciprocity are examined. Applications of the concept to gyrators, microwave integrated circuitry, impedance transformation in microwave measurements, and power limitations in microwave switching operations using semiconductor diodes are discussed.
