A study of rectangular microstrip resonators
Abstract
A simple method is presented by which the resonant frequency of shielded rectangular microstrip resonators can be approximated. This method uses a quasi-TEM approach based on application of Galerkin's method in the Fourier transform domain. An experiment designed to test this method is described. The results of this experiment are correlated with the numerical results of this method. Limitations of the method are discussed.
