The three channel microphotometer.
Abstract
A three-channel microphotometer simultaneously scanning stellar and comparison spectra has been built. The paper presents pertinent details of this instrument, which was constructed as an extension of a single-channel microphotometer. The three-channel microphotometer offers substantial advantages over the traditional single-channel one, such as a high accuracy of the wavelength scale, speed of operation, and versatility. Tests of this instrument have confirmed its high accuracy and efficiency.
