HD 73340 - a possibly periodic spectrum variable.
Abstract
Summary. The star HD73340, previously recognized as a silicon peculiar B-type star, has been found to be a spectrum variable. Analysis of 20 low dispersion prism spectra has failed to reveal any periodic variation in the radial velocity of any absorption line. However, there is some evidence for periodic variations in the strengths of the Si n lines, with periods near 2d67 and, possibly, 1d06 Photometric and high dispersion spectroscopic observations are required.
