Digital film and precipitation meter, and oil pollution metering device
Abstract
A digital layer thickness measuring instrument developed to monitor the thickness and growth rate of layers deposited by evaporation under a vacuum is described. The instrument is applicable to the manufacture of integrated circuits, optical coatings, and microelectronic components as well as laboratory uses. An instrument suitable for measuring the oil contamination of surface waters and feedwaters, and for determining the total oil concentration in a continuous manner is also described. Operation of the instruments is discussed.
