Quantitative pulsed eddy current analysis
Abstract
The reported investigation has the objective to study approaches for digitizing the short pulses encountered in the testing of pulsed eddy currents. Another aim is the development of empirical analysis techniques for the prediction of some of the parameters of simple types of defect. A description is presented of a digitizing technique which uses a computer and either a conventional nuclear analog-digital converter or a fast transient analyzer. Attention is also given to the computer software employed to collect and analyze pulses.
