Physics of solids: Theoretical determination of the energy distribution curve of secondary electrons emitted by an insulation
Abstract
A Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the phenomenon of transport of secondary electrons inside a magnesium oxide crystal. The theoretical energy distribution curve is derived.
