Design theory of fluidic components
Abstract
There are chapters on passive fluidic components (fluidic resistance, fluid diodes, capacitance, etc.) and on distributed fluid massive components (including propagation models for lumped and distributed parameter fluidic circuits and the application of the method of characteristics). There are chapters on jet flow (laminar-free jets and turbulent-free jets) and jet dynamics emphasizing the effect of pressure gradients. There is a chapter on static characteristic curves, and chapters devoted to the impact modulator, the vortex triode, the beam-deflection amplifier and the bistable switch. The transition NOR logical element (turbulence amplifier) is discussed.
