Outer solar-system aeronomy
Abstract
The paper investigates processes in the atmospheres of the outer planets including Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Titan, Io and Ganymede. Atmospheric composition and thermal structure are discussed for the various planets and satellites. Models are proposed for photochemical reactions involving hydrogen, hydrocarbons and ammonia.
