Measurement of flow velocity via a one-beam laser time-of-flight method
Abstract
The paper describes a method of time-of-flight laser anemometry, based on recording of the intensity of light scattered as the focused laser beam traverses a fluid particle. It is shown that signal width depends only on flow velocity at the measurement point. Wind tunnel results are presented on the anemometry of a two-phase air-dust flow.
