Analysis of networks with ideal switches and ideal diodes
Abstract
The investigation reported is concerned with the computation of the transient behavior of a class of nonlinear networks which consist of time-variable ideal switches, ideal diodes, and switching elements admitted for linear networks. An approach is shown for deriving a system of equations which can be employed to obtain with the aid of suitable modifications the equations of state corresponding to arbitrary switching conditions. A computer program which provides the state equations for linear time-invariant networks can be employed in the derivation of the system of equations for switching networks.
