Average flux of cosmic-ray nuclei at a distance of 1 AU from the sun.
Abstract
The average flux of solar protons during the 19th and the first part of the 20th solar cycle is computed. The average flux of nuclei in the solar and galactic cosmic rays is also calculated, and an upper limit for the influx of these particles to the earth is estimated.
