Linear position sensitive counter system for protein crystallography
Abstract
A position-sensitive counter system for collecting neutron diffraction data from protein crystals is described. A linear position-sensitive detector is utilized to permit faster data collection and allow the use of smaller crystals. Data are collected in a normal beam geometry with crystal rotation. Preliminary results obtained on a Cd derivative of myoglobin are reported.
