Operational experience with the Humicap relative humidity sensor
Abstract
Test results of the Humicap relative humidity sensors are described. The Humicap is a capacitive type solid state device made by means of thin film deposition on a glass substrate. The humidity sensitive part is a one-micron thick polymer layer between capacitor plates. Calibration stability and high temperature tests were carried out. A version of the sensor with a protective coating against corrosion is also described.
