RANN utilization experience. Case study no. 13: Continuous fabrication of solar cells
Abstract
The objective of this research project is to develop the technology of 'edge-defined, film-fed growth' (EFG), the continuous production of crystal silicon ribbons suitable for manufacturing low-cost silicon solar cells. Various factors have combined to make this research useful to those individuals or industries contemplating methods for mass production of solar cells.
