An optical method for the study of the distribution of diffusing gas concentrations along a capillary
Abstract
An optical method is described which measures a stationary distribution of concentrating diffusing gases along a capillary in various systems, and results of measuring the carbon dioxide and Freon-12 for a binary system are presented. A stationary distribution of the concentration in a diffusion capillary was established by a method presented earlier to measure true and mutual coefficients of diffusion.
