Study of the passage of rotary motion into oscillatory upon the atmospheric entry of the unguided ballistic body
Abstract
Analysis of known analytical solutions and detailed numerical investigation is carried out for a sinusoidal moment characteristic. Basic parameters are isolated and probabilistic estimations are obtained of altitude and angle of attack at the moment of the passage of rotation to oscillations during the even distribution of values of angle of attack on the boundary of the atmosphere.
