Kosmische Maser.
Abstract
The observational evidence for the existence of cosmic masers is considered. It is found that in all cases the origin of maser radiation is associated with relatively high densities of interstellar or circumstellar dust. Conclusions concerning objects correlated with masers can only be obtained on the basis of a detailed understanding of the maser. Two aspects related to cosmic masers are discussed, giving attention to questions of radiation transport and pump mechanisms.
