Use of a computer experiment for investigating a tunable microwave filter
Abstract
The paper presents the results of computer simulations of tunable microwave filters consisting of coupled open resonators that differed in the shape of the approximating characteristic, number of elements, and specific losses. Conditions were found such that the filters would be frequency-tunable with minimal distortion of the amplitude response. An experimental test of a three-element filter confirmed the computer results.
