Computer-aided investigation of the stability of transistor networks
Abstract
The reciprocal of an immitance criterion is used to numerically assess the instability of a two-port network for any input and output load. The kind of network parameters depends on the type of immitances connected to the network input and output and which provide absolute stability when they tend to infinity. The block diagram of a computer program requiring only 440 bits of core memory is discussed. The program is applied to the stability analysis of several germanium alloy transistors over a certain range of frequencies.
