Minimization of electronic circuit sensitivity
Abstract
An iterative algorithm is proposed for minimizing the overall sensitivity of electronic circuits. The algorithm concerns the solution of a problem in which given an electronic circuit and the tolerances of its internal parameters, it is required to find the nominal values of the internal parameters such that the tolerances of the output parameters be minimum. In the process of optimization, the nominal values of the internal parameters are varied, whereas their tolerances and the nominal value of an output parameter are kept constant. The algorithm is realized on a computer. A numerical example is presented.
