Analysis of the Bella-Blum equations for the pulse-effected modulation of the intensity of a transverse pumping beam
Abstract
A solution is obtained for the Bella-Blum equations describing the intensity modulation of a transverse pumping light beam by a sequence of short (in relation to the period of Larmor precession) pulses. It is shown that a greater value of magnetization is attained along with a smaller width for the resonance curve than is the case of modulation on the basis of the sine law.
