Dynamics of the reactive acceleration of a gyromotor rotor by compressed gas
Abstract
The mathematical model of rotor acceleration in a gyromotor consisting of a hollow rotor provided with tangentially arranged nozzles and of a pressure storage unit is described by a system of equations for the state of the gas under conditions of adiabatic variation, along with an equation for the rotor acceleration. Formulas are derived for calculating the parameters of reactive acceleration. Results of computer calculations are presented in graphic form.
