Further remarks on the local-scale-invariant theory of gravitation
Abstract
The local-scale-invariant theory of gravitation in terms of Weyl's geometry, which was proposed in our previous paper, is reexamined, and the conservation laws for the current and for the total energy-momentum pseudotensor are obtained. The problem of the physical identity of the gauge field is discussed, with the conclusion that the gauge field can in fact be identified with the electromagnetic field.
