Light-sensitive semiconductor films in microstrip circuits
Abstract
The reported investigation had the objective to study basic properties of microwave circuits. In the experiments use was made of glass or ceramic substrates which were covered with vapor-deposited photoconductive CdS or CdSe films. Certain areas of the film were exposed to light by means of a light mask. Studies of stripline characteristics were conducted for the frequency range from 0.5 to 4 GHz. Metallic conductor structures were used in the circuit in addition to the semiconductor elements.
