Spectrophotometric calibration design for the ultra violet from 700 to 3 500 Å
Abstract
Spectrophotometric calibration methods for the 700-3500 A ultraviolet range have been developed for application to three experiments: the antisolar experiment, the zodiacal light experiment, and the field positioning experiment. The instrumentation used for these experiments is described, and preliminary measurement results are presented. It is concluded that the equipment considered is well-adapted to its mission, and that only small modifications in the hydrogen lamp and in window lifetime are necessary.
