Cooling of radar equipment
Abstract
The present work examines the effects of temperature on the efficiency of radar equipment, along with the fundamental processes involved in cooling radar components. Most widely used cooling systems are described, including conductive, liquid, phase transformation, and thermoelectric systems. Operating characteristics of radar equipment cooling systems are discussed, together with pertinent safety measures to be implemented.
