Theory of regular heat transfer
Abstract
A general systematic theory of regular heat transfer processes is developed on the basis of the differential equations of mathematical physics. Among the methods used to describe regular heat- and mass-transfer and to solve boundary value problems are the finite-difference method, the method of integral transforms, the heavy potential method, and the eigenfunction method. Particular attention is given to the application of analog computers to the solution of regular heat transfer problems.
