The ultraviolet fluxes from some nearby galaxies.
Abstract
Ultraviolet fluxes in four wavebands are presented for some bright galaxies as observed with the sky-survey telescope (S2-68) on board the ESRO TD-I satellite. The data do not show the pronounced increase in the far ultraviolet that is characteristic of observations of similar galaxies made by OAO-2.
