DFVLR Lidar System IV
Abstract
The transmitting component of the optical radar described consists of two ruby lasers. Two mirror telescopes form the receiver. The data are recorded on magnetic tape. The processing of the data takes place in the computer center. The applications for which the device is to be used include the study of water vapor distribution in the atmosphere and measurements of the temperature distribution.
