Progress in bipolar technology
Abstract
The influence of the marked trend towards higher integration levels and increased frequencies on bipolar and analog techniques is examined. Proposed solutions to bipolar technological problems, though similar, show an emphasis on dimensional and masking procedures in digital circuits and on more specific semiconductor considerations such as surface properties and defects in linear circuits. Some indications of future trends are given.
