Charge coupled sensor array application to tracker systems
Abstract
The use of tracker systems employing charge injection array devices (CID) is considered as a means of overcoming countermeasures taken by detected targets. A CID array tracker system is briefly described together with its steering commands and the algorithm for calculating the mathematical centroid of a target. It is noted that this system's readout rate of 60 frames/sec precludes almost any target from outsteering the tracker.
