Binary communication with large bandwidth to IF frequency ratios
Abstract
The effect of IF filter bandwidth to IF frequency ratio on the probability of error in a binary bandpass communication system with nonreturntozero (NRZ) and splitphase (SP) signals is investigated. Explicit results are given for the case when the bandpass IF filter is transformed from a singlepole lowpass filter.
