Superconducting-cavity stabilized oscillators with improved frequency stability
Abstract
A brief review of the principles of the superconducting-cavity stabilized oscillators (SCSO) is presented. A description is given of SCSO improved performance and the changes which have resulted in the improved performance. Attention is also given to those factors which limit the frequency stability at the current level. A further enhancement of short-term stability is obtained by an improvement of the vibration isolation.
