A rapid analyzer of audio-frequency signals
Abstract
The audio-frequency analyzer AS-1 is used for the real-time analyses of audio-frequency signals, longer than 10 ms, in the range 50 Hz to 12 kHz. Practical experience has shown that this device is very suitable for reducing longer time intervals and a comprehensive volume of data. This has been verified by analyzing tape records of VLF signals made on board the Interkosmos 3 and 5 satellites. For a detailed study of short time periods with interesting phenomena, however, slower analyzers with a higher resolution are more suitable.
