On mechanism of excitation of break up of the liquid jets and on the regimes of forced break up
Abstract
The mechanism of the initial perturbations formation in the process of the forced break up of liquid jets by means of initiating inducing vibrations is analyzed. The consideration of the jet energy state resulted in obtaining an approximate solution as a dimensionless parameter. The mentioned parameter takes into account the initial effects and makes it possible to estimate the validity limits of the capillary theory if applied to the description of these processes.
