A method for calculating the parameters of the magnetic circuit of an electrodynamic force-generator
Abstract
Electrodynamic force-generators (vibration generators) are used in the vibration testing of various structures, particularly aircraft structures and their models. A method for the optimal selection of parameters for the magnetic circuit of the force-generator is presented. Included in the analysis are the selection of the optimal magnetic induction in the circuit and the air gap, and the determination of the geometric dimensions of the circuit and gap. A computer program is given for calculating the parameters.
