Design of cavity-stabilised microwave oscillators.
Abstract
A comparison is made between transmission, reaction and reflection cavity-stabilized oscillators. Their essential features such as maximum loaded Q factor and tunable frequency range are shown to differ markedly. Based on these considerations, outlines are given for designing highly stable microwave oscillators.
