Meander line filters with shunt stubs at the inside of the meander loops
Abstract
A compact stripline structure for wide band TEM microwave bandpass and bandstop filters is presented. The basic element is a meander line loaded with shunt stubs situated at the inside of the meander line loops. The main dimension of the structure is only one quarter wavelength at midband frequency in the dielectric medium, making the filters suitable also for frequencies far below 1 GHz. Experimental results for a seventh degree maximally flat bandpass filter are promising.
