Conference on the Analysis of Nonsteady Signals, Paris, France, February 7-9, 1975, Proccedings
Abstract
The symposium is divided into two parts, the first dealing with signal spaces and unstable noise, and the second, with random transmission channels. Topics discussed in the first part include linear estimation of a random filter, representation of unstable signals in time and frequency domain, an analog technique for analyzing signals, measurement of unstable magnetospheric and ionospheric plasma resonance signals, and measurement of radio emission from the sun and Jupiter. Topics in the second part include the study of unstable transmission channels, reverberation on a fluctuating random surface, stability of an intensity estimator for aircraft noise, and the restoration of astronomical images distorted by atmospheric turbulence. Individual items are announced in this issue.
