Studies of gamma radiation in the near earth space
Abstract
An experimental test of the hypothesis concerning the antimatter nature of meteors is described. The integrated fluxes of the annihilation radiations which might arise during the entry of antimeteors into the atmosphere were observed. An increase in the intensity of gamma radiation above 0.511 MeV was detected during the peak periods of the Geminids and Ursids meteor showers.
