Construction peculiarities of spectral instruments for space researches.
Abstract
Consideration of the special features incorporated in spectral devices used in spacecraft owing to the outer-space environment and the conditions of emplacement of these devices in the vehicles. Information is presented concerning the special features of the design of nonstationary units in uncovered assemblies and concerning the encasing parts of devices and units for securing optical components. Questions are considered which relate to the effect of the ambient medium on optical components, and measures to increase the reliability of these components are cited. Also presented is information concerning measures directed toward increasing the accuracy and sensitivity of measurements in the infrared region of the spectrum. Finally, the effect of outer-space conditions on the electronic circuits of the devices is considered.
