Electron thermal conductivity in a current-carrying plasma in a stellarator
Abstract
A comparative analysis is made of experimental data obtained with the Uragan-1 and Wandelstein II B stellarators. The study is intended to elucidate the nature of dependence of the electron thermal conductivity in a current-carrying plasma in a stellarator on the magnitude of the poloidal magnetic field. The analysis shows that the pseudoclassical equation obtained by Artsimovich (1971) satisfactorily describes the electron thermal conductivity of a current-carrying plasma in a stellarator.
