Investigations into interference at Arlanda Airport
Abstract
Some telecommunication problems are analyzed for the air radio stations at Arlanda airfield to test working procedures in the use of data from the operation of telecommunication and the frequency register of the military authorities. The latter register gives the electronic environment in the surrounding neighborhood. Calculations show that the risk of interference is quite acceptable for the examined stations, which agrees with practical experience. The basis of collected data can be used to predict interference risks for future alterations or extensions to the radio equipment. The working procedures in the management of Tvt and the military frequency register are found to be well adapted to its purpose.
