Evaluation of nonlinear properties of a transmission line for fast cyclotron waves of an M-type beam
Abstract
Approximate equations are used in analyzing a transmission line for fast cyclotron waves of a beam in crossed fields with a large input signal. Nonlinear effects are shown to occur in the transmission line due to the displacement of electrons during interaction into a region of weak high-frequency fields. The dependence of the transmission coefficients on the input signal is calculated.
