Signal processing in the case of scanned radar signal groups
Abstract
A matrix notation approach is used in connection with the analysis of a number of typical radar problems. A signal model is considered and aspects concerning an optimal target detection in the presence of disturbances for pulse Doppler radar are discussed. Attention is given to questions of signal and parameter estimation, the significance of the inverse noise covariance matrix, target detection in the case of suboptimal noise suppression, the evaluation of linear systems on the basis of gain considerations, and aspects of signal processing.-
