Response time in heterojunction infrared detectors
Abstract
The response of a PbS-GaAs bandpass i.r. detector to 30 nsec light pulses is presented and discussed. Since the diodes are prepared by a very simple process, the observed risetime (25 nsec) seems short enough to compare favourably with the response time of more sophisticated devices.
