Application of electrokinetic effect to liquid fluidics
Abstract
The feasibility of an electric-liquid fluidics signal converter without mechanical moving parts was experimentally investigated. The fluidic output which is obtained with the aid of the pumping mode was used as the input signal for an OR/NOR fluidic element. Another experiment reported was concerned with the employment of the generation mode for the direct conversion of changes in flow rate and pressure of an electrolyte into electric signals.
