Nonlinear problem of the steady motion of a viscous fluid in a planar diffuser
Abstract
A study of the nonlinear problem of the steady-state flow of a viscous, incompressible fluid in a planar diffuser with an initial nonzero cross section. It is proved that a unique solution to the problem exists. In the limit where the aperture angle goes to zero, the solution becomes a Poiseuille flow in a planar tube.
