Dynamic analysis of flexible space vehicles having uncoupled control axes
Abstract
The dynamic analysis of a generalized flexible structure is considered, taking into account the mathematical derivation of the basic parameters and force and torque equations for a lumped parameter model. Questions of modal analysis and truncation are discussed along with the model of a vehicle used for the investigation. The characteristics of the control systems are investigated, giving attention to control studies applied to the model of a flexible satellite and a minimum impulse control system for attitude stabilization. The results of a system simulation are presented.
